| Eight hurt in road mishaps | | |
JAMMU, May 04: Eight persons, including women, were wounded in separate road accidents here today.Police sources said five persons suffered injuries, when their car
was hit by a truck at Muthi.They were identified as Usha Sharma, wife of M L Sharma, Ashok Kumari, wife of Ashok Malhotra, Madan Lal, son of Devan Chand, Soma, wife of Madan Lal and Asha Devi, all the resident of Shakti Nagar.
They were admitted to the GMC hospital.In another incident, IRP cop Vimal of Hiranagar was injured when a speeding truck hit his motorbike at Sapwal in Samba. He too was admitted to the GMC hospital.
Swaran Kumar, son of Prabhu Dayal of Sohanjana, and Surinder Kumar, son of Babu Ram of R S Pura, were also admitted to the GMC hospital after they sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident.Cases in this connection were registered at the concerned police
stations.
