| OGW having links with LeT militants arrested | | |

Police today arrested an Over Ground Worker having links with the militants of LeT outfit in the district and has been put to sustained questioning. Some more arrests are expected on his disclosure.
A Police report said that the OGW Raies Ahmed Natnoo son of Abdul Rashid Natnoo resident of Gundna Tehsil Doda after his arrest was put to sustained questioning during which he revealed that he has been working for militants of LeT outfit for the last few years, providing food, shelter and other logistics including financial assistance to the militants. The OGW is still under questioning to know more details regarding the LeT outfit.
The report said that on August 3 last, LeT militants had taken shelter in his house, which led to an encounter in which one Army jawan lost his life and six others sustained injuries. In the encounter one militant was also gunned down and a case FIR NO 115/2006 u/s 302/307/212/216 RPC, 7/27 AA was registered in Police Station Doda . During the course of investigation, the OWG was arrested today following his links with the ultras.
