| Two cops suspended after vehicle lifters flee Mahore PS | | |
JAMMU, May 04: Two constables were today placed under suspension after two alleged vehicle lifters fled the Mahore police station.
Muzaffar Iqbal of Domana and Mohammad Yousaf of Sidhra were arrested by Mahore police few days back for allegedly stealing a motorcycle from the area.
The duo fled the police station in broad day light today, police sources said.
Taking a serious note of the matter, Reasi SSP Keshav Chourasia placed two constables under suspension for dereliction of duty. When contacted, the SSP said the suspended cops were on guard duty when the accused fled the police station.The accused were, however, re-arrested by police from the Lapic Top area of Mahore later.
