| Power shut down | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MAY 05- To carry out routine and preventive maintenance of 132/33 KV Grid Station Jhajjar Kotli, the power supply to the areas being fed from 33 KV feeders Reasi, Phalate, Jindrah, Katra, Bhawan, Salal I and II and SMVDU Grid shall remain affected on May 8, 2011 from 0600 hours to 1000 hours.
Similarly, in order to carry out repairs and to set right the damaged jumpers/dropoers of 220KV bus bars and allied equipments installed in 132 KV and 33 KV yards of 220/132/33 KV Grid station Gladni, the shut down of 220/132/33 KV Grid station Gladni on May 8, 2011 from 6.00 A.M. to 12.00 noon is allowed.
The areas affected during the above shutdown period are areas of Jammu city fed from 132/33KV Grid Station, Gladni, Twin Miransahib, Sidhra and Janipur Grid Station fed from Bari-Brahamna-I.
According to Chief Engineer, Electric Maintenance & RE Wing, Jammu, the shut down is subject to fair weather conditions.
