| G-Five mobile launched in J&K | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 5: G-Five mobile, one of the top ten mobile phone brands globally today announced its ambitious plans for Jammu and Kashmir market and launched its feature packed, high quality and affordable mobile phone models in the state. Announcing this, Managing Director, Kingtech Electronics India private limited, Arshit Pathak said that J&K is an important market for the company and they are planning to expand channel partner network here. “Our target customers in the state are especially youth, who cannot afford costly cell phones”, he said. He said that company strongly believes in the benefit of technology should not be limited to a few but must be available to the masses. He said that business philosophy is to make technology affordable to the common people. Pathak said that G-Five aims to be the numero uno consumer electrons product brand in the world leveraging on its economy of scale and supply chain efficiencies in China. “Innovation is at the heart of this success. It has already launched over 300 mobile phone models worldwide and spins out 2 new exciting models every week from its labs into the market. He said that company has made large investment in R&D, product design and manufacturing facilities and always shares the benefits it accrues because of economics of scale with its customers. Pathak said that along with mobile phones, company has ambitious plans for launching other consumer electronics producers as well in 2011 including net books, laptops and music boxes. Some of the innovations introduced by the company for the very first time in the market include mobile with a projector system, free to air TV, marathon battery for really long talk time and standby time.
