Early Times Report JAMMU, May 5: Natrang is going to stage Internationally acclaimed Dogri play ‘Bawa Jitto’ written by Late Padamshree Prof Ram Nath Shastri and Directed by Balwant Thakur on Saturday, 7th of May, 2011 at 5 pm at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. The play is being presented in the Jammu & Kashmir Arts Festival being organized by ANHAD. This was informed here today by Natrang director Balwant Thakur in a press briefing held at Natrang Studio Theatre, Jammu. The play ‘Bawa Jitto’ has become almost an identity of Dogri culture and Language and has been staged in most of the prestigious National and International Theatre events. The story of the play is set in the rural backdrop, this 15th century Folk tale portrays the age-old saga of exploitation of landless farmers by landlords. The prominent actors who are participating in the play include Arvind Anand, Suresh Kumar, Anil Tickoo, Sanjeev Gupta, Neeraj Kant, Renu Sharma, Sajra Qadir, Juhi Singh, Pawan Verma, Mohit Sharma and Mohd.
