| Anti Corruption Manch to launch war against corruption | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, may 6: : The newly constituted Anti Corruption Manch, Jammu has pledged to launch all out war on corruption at all levels and in all walks of life , which is eating like canker into the vitals of the society .
Addressing a media conference here, today , the Manch chairman S. Baldev Singh Wazir , along with other office bearers while welcoming the crusade against corruption stated that the manch will highlight corruption at lower level , in the Revenue Deptt. Police, PDW, PDD, Public Distribution System and other spheres, which is a main concern to the common man.
The manch will also fight against the black marketers, hoarders and profiteers, exploiting the poor consumers as well as against the sky rocketing prices of essentials of daily use.
The manch will also expose the corrupt politicians, including those indulging in cross voting and violating the people’s mandate and trust reposed in them by the electorates
It will also monitor expending of constituency development fund by the legislators and MPs
The manch has demanded that the defunct State Accountability Commission be made functional soon. It has also demanded bringing the state Information Act at par with Central Act, to make it more effective.
It further demanded the vigilance commission to be made independent with sharper teeth. The manch further demanded cleansing the education system and institutions of corrupt elements and making selections for admission in professional courses as well as in employment at govt. jobs fully transparent
The manch has also extended support to the crusade launch against corruption and social evils by Vichar Kranti Manch , International and will supplement its effort S.Baldev Singh said.
