| Five ultrasound clinics raided, one sealed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, May 6: While health services department today sealed an ultrasound clinic at Gandhinagar here, it raided the premises of five such clinics in Samba following alleged complaints of professional misconduct against them.
Alfa ultrasound clinic was raided at Gandhinagar Thursday, but it was sealed today after its owner could not produce the relevant record before the authorities concerned, health services director Ashok Sharma said.
He said a health department team, led by Samba CMO, Dr Javid Choudhary, raided five ultrasound clinics at Bari Brahmana and Vijaypur and seized their record for scrutiny.
The raided concerns included life line ultrasound clinic, Bari Brahmana, Balaji ultrasound clinic, Sona logic ultrasound clinic, Vijay memorial nursing home and Kirpa memorial ultrasound clinic.
The director said raids were conducted on the instructions of health minister Sham Lal Sharma. |
