| Kargil war martyr remembered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, May 6: Rich tributes were paid to Kargil War hero N/L Bua Ditta Bhagat s/o Krishan Lal Bhagat r/o Chakroi R.S.Pura who sacrificed his life on 6th May, 1999 in Kargil war.
Addressing a religious function organized in memory of martyr, Rattan Lal. Gupta advocate provincial president J&K National Conference said Bua Ditta is martyr who laid down his life for defending his motherland and thus is a Kargil war hero.
Every Indian is proud of all those war heroes who fought for defending the Indian boundaries and people of the country, he said.
The entire nation salutes them who sacrificed their lives for the unity, integrity and solidarity of the country.
Gupta said more than 100 Kargil war heroes belonged to the Jammu border belt and as thus the youths of the border belt who are brave & having very high moral to join Army and paramilitary forces in order to fight with the enemy for the sake of their country. Gupta assured the families of the martyrs that the centre and state Govt. shall extend their full possible helps to them.
T.S. Tony district president N.C., Kuldeep Kumar sarpanch and religious guru Master Tara Singh also spoke on the occasion.
