| Delegation of J&K state Olympic Association met CM | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 7: A delegation of J&K State Olympic Association comprising its office bearers met Chief Minister, Omer Abdullah and apprised him of the State of affairs of Sports development programme in the State of J&K.
Chief Minister was also informed about the achievements of Sportsmen in the National activities including participation in the 34th National Games held at Jharkhand and winning 12 Medals in the same.
Conduct of Olympic day run on 23rd June, 2011 at Srinagar was also discussed threadbare as being the regular feature of State Olympic Association.
Chief Minister was kind enough to give patient hearing to all the problems and promised to honour the medal winners and coaches by awarding them cash awards in a glittering Ceremony in the near future.
He also promised to provide all help and cooperation to make the Olympic day run a grand success.
