| Deputation call on CE PHE, demands enhanced water supply | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MAY 07-A deputation led by former Corporator, Ashok Singh Manhas, today called upon Chief Engineer PHE, Mr. Dogra to apprise him of their grievances related to drinking water supply.
The deputationists demanded that the water from ERA Tube Well be supplied to top Paloura which is at present supplying water to Subash Nagar, Toph Sherkhania and other scarify in Top Ploura. Besides, they also demanded supply of water twice a day to meet the requirement in the area.
The deputation also urged the Chief Engineer to issue strict instructions to the concerned PHE authorities in the area to ensure proper water supply in the area.
