| State chess championship from May 22 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 07: Organised by the All J&K Chess Association, the two-day State Open Chess (Men) Championship shall be played from May 22 at Hotel Nek, here.
The competition is aimed at selecting the state team for the forthcoming National Challenger Chess Championship, organized by All India Chess Federation, at Aurangabad from June 15. It will be also from this event that state team shall be named for National Team Championship to be held in January next.
