| Lectures on 'personality development' of students | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 7: Expert Lectures on the topic of "Personality Development" were organized by GCET at Chak Bhalwal, Jammu.
The programme was presided by Professor Bhopinder Singh, Principal of the College and attended by B.E. Students;
First lecture was delivered by Professor Rajni Dhingra, Department of Home Science, University of Jammu, Jammu discussed on the importance of moral and ethical values in personality development of a student. Further, she stressed that acquiring apex position in this competitive world is not possible without human development. The second lecture was delivered by Professor RajniKant, Head Department of Electronics, he discussed the role played by different agencies like DST, AICTE, UGC,CSIR etc in promoting research and technology for youth.
The dignitaries who participated in the programme were Dr.
Shabana Aftab, Dr. Atula Dhar, Dr. Veena Rani, Rouf Ahmed Khan and Sanjeev Gupta.
At the conclusion Dr. Rajinder Kumar and S. Sarbjeet Singh, HOD Mechanical Engineering Department also spoke on Personality Development.
