| Jammu Minister asked to wear bangles over Dogra certificate issue | | | JAMMU: Over the revocation of Dogra certificate by the government, JKNPP women wing has asked the Jammu politicians to wear bangles for not fighting for the cause of Dogras.
In an anti-government demonstration held here, party general secretary Anita Thakur said the Jammu politicians had failed to put a joint pressure on the government in support of the Dogra certificate issue.
"Under such circumstances, it will be good for them to wear bangles and sit at home," she asserted.
Anita said the silence maintained by the politicians, including ministers, here amounted to betrayal with Dogras.
It also showed that they had totally surrendered before NC and separatists, she added.
She said her party was prepared to launch a massive agitation in the region on this issue and called upon the people to fight for their right. |
