Natrang stages play in Sunday theatre | | | EARLY TIMES JAMMU, May 8: Natrang’s weekly theatre show ‘Sunday Theatre’ featured a theatrical venture full of contemporary social realities. Written by Balwant Gargi, the play was directed by Balwant Thakur. Based on a story of two close friends, who want to befool each other by the best of their crooked tactics the play is a big dig on the fast decaying of human values and projects majority looking for shortest routes and unlawful means to achieve everything in life by propagating the slogan ‘dishonesty is the best policy’. The play revealed that general public despite being well-exposed and largely aware of the fraudulent scams, fall into the trap of crooks. There is no need to innovate new tactics to befool them as the memory of public is short lived and they willingly step into to trap as they in heart of their hearts are also looking for instant means and shortest routes. The artists who participated in the play included Mohit Sharma, Vijay Kaul, Kritika Sharma, and Sachin Saini. The lights were designed and executed by Rahul Singh & the sets were designed by Aatish Gupta. The presentations were done by Sumeet Sharma. Neeraj Kant coordinated the show.
