Court complex to be ready by Nov | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, May 8: District Court Complex, coming up at Moominabad, Batmaloo, at a cost of Rs. 54.38 crore would be ready by November this year on which Rs. 34.87 crore have been expended so far while as first tube of Rs.25 crore Hyderpora fly-over project would be thrown open for traffic next month. This information was given to Minister of State for R&B, Javed Ahmad Dar while inspecting on-going work of district court complex and bypass road project here today. Chief Engineer, R&B, Kashmir, Nazir Ahmad and senior engineers of the department accompanied the Minister. Minister also inspected 187 meter span Pantha Chowk bridge, costing Rs. 8.50 crore and 309 meter long Tenghpora bridge, being constructed at a cost of Rs. 13 crore, as a part of 61 crore widening bypass road project. Describing the quality of work as an important factor of the project, the Minister asked representatives of M/s Multi-tech Engineering, Srinagar, who are executing the job, that there would be no compromise on this aspect. He impressed upon them to speed up work at all stages and ensure that projects are completed in stipulated time. Dar instructed engineers to monitor regularly the schedule of the work to avert any further delay. He was told the project has been delayed due to last year’s unrest in the valley and assured for its completion as per the scheduled. Javed asked Chief Engineer to monitor all the projects personally coming up in R&B sector and review their progress on weekly basis.
