JAMMU, May 8: Former champion, Kamal Rohmetra was outplayed by Sohail Khalid 3-1 to lift the senior billiards title in the 21st Jammu District open Billiards and Snooker Championship concluded at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
Losing opening frame to Kamal 80-100, Sohail fought back firing on all cylinders to gain an edge which he converted into a superb win this afternoon. The score: 80-100, 100-78, 100-80, 100-47.
Meanwhile, according to the organizers, J&K Billiards and Snooker Association, the prize distribution function of the district championship shall take place at the time of valedictory function of the State meet, scheduled in near future.
