| Ex-servicemen rally held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 8: An ex-servicemen rally was organised at HRDC, Baramulla today to resolve pension and welfare related issues of ex-servicemen and the widows of Martyrs (Veer Naries) and to make them aware about the latest health related schemes and recruitment opportunities of their wards in the Army.
The rally was inaugurated by General Officer Commanding, Dagger Division.
A total of 124 ex-servicemen and 11 veer naries attended the event.
The comfort of the attendees was well taken care of by providing dedicated conveyance, meals and warm hospitality. Rally encompassed activities of interaction with the concerned pension and recruitment officials, health schemes, bank loans for pensioners. Zila Sainik Board Welfare Officer was also present to attend to welfare related problems. Free medical camp was well witnessed.
