| RR holds ex-serviceman rally | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 8: An ex-serviceman rally was conducted by 13 Rashtriya Rifles (Kumaon)) at Manasbal today under the aegis of Victor Force. 58 Ex-servicemen and Veer Naries attended the same.
The event was presided over by Brigadier AK Sharma, Commander, 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles. The rally was organised with an aim to provide a platform to all ex-servicemen of the area to strengthen their association with organisation. The opportunity was used by the organising unit to address the problems of the ex-servicemen attending the rally.
Speaking on the occasion, Commander, 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles urged all ex-servicemen to make all out efforts and assist the Army and civil administration in resolving the problems of the area. The commander reiterated that all efforts will be made to look after the welfare needs of the ex-servicemen within the framework of the organization.
Ex-servicemen present were also briefed about various schemes for the benefits of retired Armed Forces Personnel. The Ex-servicemen appreciated the efforts made by Headquarters 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles and 13 Rashtriya Rifles (Kumaon) in organizing the event and maintaining excellent relations.
