| CONG LEADERS TRAIN THEIR GUNS ON PDP FOR RAKING SELF RULE | | | Jammu, November 19 Congress leaders today lashed out at People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for raking up self-rule issue. Addressing during the rally organised to celebrate birth anniverssary of forme Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, various Congress leaders expressed their anguish over PDP taking up the issue and termed the self-rule as hallow slogan. MP from Udhampur-Doda constituency Choudhary Lal Singh in his own style made it clear to the senior party leaders present on the occasion to listen to problems of party workers and common mases to fulfill their asprations from their elected leaders.He said, if a minister is not willing to grant audience to his party workers he has no right to conitnue in his hot seat. Taking a dig at PDP and NC leaders Lal Singh dared them to walk free without security cover before singling slogans of self rule and Autonomy.Singh said though developmental works were carried by coalition government with great enthusiam but aspiration sof people of all three regions needed to be fulfilled. Peerzada Mohd Sayeed dared PDP to clear their stand on self rule and said they are misleading the people of the state by givign hallow slogans. Former Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Pt Mangat Ram Sharma said that untill congress govt is there there is no scope of compromising with the integrity ofthe mother nation,He said we will not spare an inch of our mother Nation while targetting PDP which is raking up issue of self rule time and again with explaining in detail what is the meanin gof self rule to general public. Addressing public meeting various other congress eladers including party MP Madan Lal Sharma and others emphasised the need to reunite.PCC Chief Peerzada Mohd Sayeed also appealed to the party workers to work unitedly for reaping rich benefits.
