| Body recovered from Jehlum | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar May 9: Police today recovered a body of a 60-year old man from river Jehlum.
A police spokesman said the body of Abdul Rehman Wani, son of Ali Muhammad of Kanjikul Yaripora of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district was recovered from river Jhelum at Padgampora Awantipora. The body was handed over to the family after legal formalities.
Meanwhile, a lady died in ‘mysterious’ conditions in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.
Reports said Jana Begum wife of Bashir Ahmad Dobhi of Nadihal Bandipora had allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself. However, police said, investigations are on and cause of death is being ascertained.
