| Pallam Raju reviews BRO projects in J&K | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 9 : With a thrust on strengthening the communication network in Jammu and Kashmir due to shared borders with Pakistan and China, the Ministry of Defence today reviewed various road communication projects undertaken by the Border Roads Organization (BRO) in the state.
Minister of State (MoS) for Defence M M Pallam Raju held a high-level review meeting with BRO officers led by Director General BRO Lt Gen K Ravi Shanker here today, Public Relations Officer, Defence, S N Acharya said.
Flanked by the DG BRO, Raju, who arrived here on a three day visit to the state, was received at Jammu Airport by Air Officer Commanding, Jammu, Air Commodore Nitin Sathe, Acharya said.
Raju laid emphasis on timely completion of all the on-going projects in the state, particularly in the border belts, he said.
