Health minister directs for treatment of viral fever patients | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, May 10: Minister for Health, Sham Lal Sharma today visited Sangroori village and its adjoining hamlets in Pulwama district and interacted with Gujjar Bastis of the area where one child has died due to viral infection. Minister was apprised that three medical camps are working round the clock in the area in which over 450 children suffering from fever, cough etc are being treated, adding that the disease is under control now. Minister said that every medicare would be provided to the affected. He stressed on medical staff to serve sufferers with sincerity, zeal and dedication adding that no laxity would be tolerated. Sharma directed District Commissioner, Pulwama to ensure the presence of doctors in the health institutions round the clock. He handed over Rs. 5000 out of Constituency Development Fund to a family at Ari Tarag Gujjar Basti and directed District Development Commissioner to release Rs. 10, 000 from Red Cross to the bereaved family.
