| Power shut down | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 10: To carry out the work of shifting of 66 KV IGC-I line emanating from 132/66 KV Grid Station Samba, falling within the premises of under construction Sports Stadium Samba, the power supply to the DC office Samba, Sapwal, Barian Sumb Bainglar, PHE Rakh, DD Samba, all industries located in Phase-I and Phase-II of Industrial Growth Centre Samba shall remain affected on of May 11 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on May 12 from 3 p.m to 7 p.m.
According to the Superintending Engineer, Elect M&RE Circle-I, Jammu the shut down is subject to fair weather conditions. Meanwhile, to carry out necessary repair on 33 KV line emanating from Grid Station Udhampur, the power supply to Udhampur, Chenani and Ramnagar lines will remain affected rotation wise from May 11 to May 16, 2011.
The cut scheduled on these lines is from 6 a.m. to 10.30 a.m on May 11 and 12, 2011 on Udhampur line, May 14 to May 16, 2011 on Chenani line and May 14 to May 16, 2011 on Ramnagar Line.
