| Live operations conducted at Sarwal hospital | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 10: In continuation to the CME / Workshop being organized by Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu, patients were today operated free of cost with live session for all the participating gynecologists of the state.About 100 gynecologists had registered for the workshop.
The surgeons who are conducting surgeries included Dr S.K Giri Head of Regional Cancer Centre Cuttack, Orissa, Dr Uma Devi Head of Gynecology Oncology Kidwai Memorial Institute Bangalore, Dr Kasturi Lal Gupta Ex Principal and Head of Department of Gynae and Obstet Government Medical College Jammu, Dr Anil Mehta consultant Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu and Dr Surinder Kumar Consultant Head of the Unit Gynae and Obstet Govt Medical College Jammu Government Medical College Jammu also assisted in the surgeries. The surgeries performed were of Ovarian tumour , Non descent vaginal hysterectomy , colostomy.
The workshop cum CME on Gynecological Oncology, cancer screening by Colposcopy and management of stress incontinence by transvaginal Transobturator tapes being organized by Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu was inaugurated at hotel Fortune Riviera on May 8. The workshop continues till May 12.
