Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 10: Activists of National Pathers Student Union (NPSU) held a protest in University campus and raised slogans against Chief Minister, separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, and Jammu based Congress Leaders over the shameful withdrawal of government order for the issuance of Dogra Certificate.
This protest was held under the leadership of their State General Secretary, Varun Dev Singh.
Varun Dev Singh while speaking on the occasion said that the recent decision of the NC - Congress coalition is a matter of shame whereby the government has issued an order for revocation of Dogra Certificate under pressure from Anti National Elements like Syed Ali Shah Geelani without caring about the self respect, feelings and interests of the people, especially unemployed youth of Jammu province.
He said that by curtailing the annual Amarnath Yatra by 15 days and afterwards the revocation of Dogra Certificate Order, by doing all such things the government has played with the sentiments of the Dogras irrespective of caste and religion.
He further added that the coalition government is trying to please the Kashmir centric people and said that government has to change this kind of attitude. He also questioned the Jammu based congress leaders for their silence over the issue.
He said that NPSU will not tolerate this communal and decisive approach of state government and will fight till order of issuance of Dogra Certificate.
