Niaz asks district administration to accelerate development activities

Bhaderwah May 10: Former Minister & MLA Bhaderwah Mohammad Sharief Niaz has asked the district administration to accelerate the development activities and boost the tourism industry in his constituency.
He also announced that he will visit Bollywood Industry in Mumbai and will meet many film producers and invite them to Bhaderwah area which is know as mini Kashmir for shooting purpose.
He also demanded to construct the Bhaderwah - Chamba road as earliest which will help to boost the tourism the area.
Niaz asked the electorates to elect honest and sincere candidates for Panchayat polls as these are being held on non-party basis and there should not be any conflict on the basis of party’s as no party leader is canvassing for candidates.
Addressing a mammoth gathering at Neouta area in Bhaderwah on the occasion of entry of a large number of BJP , BSP and PDP Party workers into Congress party fold, Niaz said that more and more people are joining the party for its secular and development oriented policies under the leadership of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Welcoming the new entrants to the party, ex-minister & MLA Mohd. Sharief Niaz said that people have seen through the evil designs of those trying to divide the society in the name of religion and regions and are coming forward to embrace the secular Congress party.
Niaz also conducted series of public meeting at Sungli , Bhaja , Basti Nalthi and Puneja, Hanga and took stock of works going on and problem being faced by the public. In Sungli people demanded cremation ghat at Sertangal and Monda as in Sehari public demanded construction of community hall , playground and improvement of road from Sartangal to Bheja .
In Bheja people demanded opening of PHC , high school and road etc.
Niaz assured them to solve their demand shortly .
Meanwhile zonal president PDP Bhalesa Gulam Rasool Bhat resigned from party and joined Congress along with his hundreds of supporters.
Prominent BJP workers those joined at Neota were Bal Krishan, Tej Kumar, Neet Singh, Yashpal Manhas, Manjit Singh, Swami Raj Kotwal, Sanjay Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Kuljit Kumar and many others.
At Bhaderwah several youth joined congress under the leadership of Wasim Jalal which includes Mohd. Yusuf, Noor Hussan, Barkat Ali, Basharat Hussan, Vipin Lal, Manjit Singh, Sunil Kumar, Tariq Hussan, Kalyan Singh and many others.
At Hanga several BJP,PDP and BSP workers joined congress in presence of Mohd. Sharief Niaz (MLA),prominents are Prithvi RAj , Mast Ram, Haqiqat Singh, Rahul Chand, Shiv Kumar, Mohd. Iqbal, Om Prakash, Gulam Mustafa, Badrinath, Lekh Raj, Ashok Kumar, Ajay Bhagat and several others.
