| BPL, T -20 cricket tournament organized | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, May 11: The finals of Bandipur Premier League (BPL) T-20 Cricket Tournament finals was played at Bandipur Sher-e-Kashmir stadium between Kanusa and Lower Magnipura teams.
Magnipura team won the match which was witnessed by N Bhat, MLA, DC, SP and other civil dignitaries.
The tournament was played on league cum knock out basis with 14 teams from the district including one each from Gurez and Sumbal.
The tournament started with colourful opening ceremony, with all the teams marching to the beats of the band from Aloosa Higher Secondary School, Bandipur. This was followed by display of ‘Martial Arts’ by boys and girls from the districts who have brought fame to the State at the National level.
All participants and visitors thanked Army for organizing the event.
