Army organizes medical camp at Soitang and Batwara

Jammu, May 11: The Army with assistance of local district officials organized medical camps at Soitang and Batwara on 9, 10 and May 11 respectively.
These camps were inaugurated by elders of local areas in the presence of number of local districts officials and dignitaries.
The aim of these medical camps was to provide medical and dental care to the Awam. A team of doctors and para medical staff of 92 Base Hospital attended to more than 2000 patients of District Naugam and District Srinagar, who were provided free medical treatment in these medical camps, the special cases requiring detailed diagnosis were referred to 92 Base Hospital, BB Cantt, Srinagar.
The medical teams also extended their medical expertise to the bedridden patients, who were unable to reach the camp. The medical camps gave a further boost to the motto ‘Awam aur jawan , aman hai mukam’.
