| Adbi Kunj celebrates Red Cross Day and Mothers Day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 11: On the occasion of Red Cross Day and Mother Day, a special, literary, social and musical function cum, meet was organized by Adbi Kunj, a multilingual literary organization, at its literary centre in new Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary school, Talab Tillo, Jammu.
Large number of literary and social Activists attends the function. The function was presided over by a veteran Yoga-teacher Dr. S.K. Jain, a well known poet and writer also, while another renowned Urdu, Persian, Hindi and Sanskrit scholar, poet and writer Dr. Shaikh Mohamad Taiyab Bharti of Bainipur (Banaras) was the Chief Guest of the meet.
In his inaugural address, Sham Talib president of the organization, described the occasion as monumental “we always look forward to such opportunities, where falls such occasions and where writers could exchange their views, something which is essential for promoting the feelings of brotherhood, peace and tranquility”
Sham Talib, Dr. S.K. Jain, Dr. Taiyab Bharti, Sushil Begana and other speakers, described the theme of the day “Heaven is at the feet of the mother”. On the occasion various writers spoke about the role played by mother in shaping and nourishing.
In the multilingual poetic session, poets also recited their songs and poems, on the various aspects of these days.
In the last, a music session was also held, in which famous music composer and singers, including Dharmesh Nargotra and Ved Upal sang some songs and ghazals on the theme of mothers love. Beside this Rajinder Kumar (The Kishore Kumar of Jammu) sang two filmi songs of Late Kishore Kumar with the music of his sound track system of his mobile.
