| Panthers hold protest against revocation of Dogra Certificate order | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, May 11: Several Panthers party (PP) workers held a protest demonstration against the state government for revocation of the government order for issuance of theDogra certificate. The protest was basically to support the issuance of Dogra Certificate to all the people residing in Jammu region.
MLA and State president JKNPP, Balwant Singh Mankotia while addressing the demonstrators criticized the government for revocation of government order for issuance of Dogra Certificate under pressure of anti national elements.
He said that it is only Panthers party which is fighting for issuance of Dogra certificate from last 28 years in the Jammu Kashmir Assembly. But criticizing the Congress and National Conference he said that the policies of these parties are anti-Jammu and these parties have always played with the sentiments of the Jammu people.
He further said that the people of Jammu region should support the Panthers party which is the only Jammu based regional party in the state.
He further added that reorganization is the ultimate solution of the Jammu and Kashmir problem, and impressed upon the government to constitute delimitation commission so that every region of the state could be given equal political share.
Latter Panthers party activist burnt the effigy of state government for revocation of Dogra certificate order recently under the pressure of Gellani and other Hurriyat leaders.
They demanded immediate restoration of Dogra certificate and threatened the state government to launch an agitation on regional level against the State government if their demand will not be given due attention.
