| Sangram Sena holds meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 11:-
An emergent meeting of Sangram Sena, J&K Jammu was held today at Dansal, under the Chairmanship of Ram Rattan Raina, President of the Sena. The meeting was held jointly by Sangram Sena, J&K Dogra Liberation Front Jammu, and other social and Political activists of Jammu under the leadership of Ram Pal Sharma, President D.L.F, Aman Gupta, union President of Post Graduate students of University Jammu. In the meeting all the respectable persons of Dansal were present.
During the meeting it was held that to the inhabitants during the present monsoons, since in the month, snakes and other dreaded lizards come out of the earth and poses threat to lives of the inhabitants, as such electricity during evening and night hours is badly needed.
While addressing the meeting Ram Rattan Raina said, that about 200 old aged persons in the area are suffering from heart ailment, some of them have undergone heart surgery, besides the snakes and dreaded lizards come out of the earth which poses threat to human lives. He added that during evening hours whenever any human being old or young comes out becomes victim of the snake bite or lizards which has taken several lives of the inhabitants. He further said that this fact has been appraised to the PDD-authorities a number of times during past about 35 times but have not taken serious note of it till date due to which deaths continues due to snake bites in the area.
While concluding he urged upon the Minister for power, and commissioner PDD to look into the matter seriously and present curtailment of power be stopped, and power be restored during especially night hours, so that ailing people old aged get a sigh of relief, besides inhabitants are saved from snake bites. He expressed his hope for speedy action and orders in the interest of public.
Amongst others who spoke includes Vishal Singh, President MAM students Union SS Jammu, Bindu Sar Abrol, Sr. Law student, J.U Law Department, Virender Chib anmd others.
