| Army School Akhnoor celebrates annual day | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 11:
Army School Akhnoor celebrated its annual day today at Sangha Auditorium. Function was started with the Welcome speech by Mr KCS Mehta Principal, Army School Akhnoor. The Principal of the Army School welcomed the chief guest and guest of honour Major General Rakesh Sharma, VSM, Mrs Payal Sharma convener FWO, Mrs & Brig SN Rai, Brig SP Mehta. Annual report was presented by the Principal. After the annual report, the programme started with “Saraswati Vandana”. A colourful Dogri dance, English Skit Punjabi songs, Rajasthani dance and Krishan Lila (junior) Qawali, Jai ho, martial arts Orchestra and Punjabi Bhangra was the most attractive item of the programme. Prize distributions was announced by Mrs Meenakashi Sharma Junior Coordinator of Army School Akhnoor. Mrs Meenakashi Shrama requested to Mrs Payal Sharma to give away the prizes to the students who excelled in academics, sports and other activities and boost the morale of the students.
Annual Function was ended with the vote of thanks by Mrs Dhar, Senior Coordinator of the Army School.
