| MIER in collaboration with Centre for Women Studies celebrated ‘Mothers Day’ | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 11: Model Academy in collaboration with Centre for Women Studies MIER College of Education today celebrated Mother’s day at both its branches with full zeal & enthusiasm.
Dr. Renu Gupta Director, CWS along with Dr. Adit Gupta Joint Director MIER, Dr. Surinder Kaur Controller Examination MIER College of Education, Rupa Gupta Principal Residency Road, Usha Gadoo vice Principal, Gayatri Kotwal, Coordinator and Samriti, Project Officer, CWS were present on the occasion.
The day started with an Inter House Group song competition paying tribute to mothers. This was followed by two main events. The students of the junior wing participated in painting activity. The theme of which was ‘My Mother’. The senior students & junior students of both the branches participated in an Inter house cooking competition. The theme of the competition was ‘Cooking without Fire’. Students made different types of salads and paid tributes to the mothers cooking skills.
The Preschool wing of the school Humming Buds also paid tribute to their mothers in their own special way. The kids made gifts for their mothers.
