| Jawan dies of poisoning | | | JAMMU: An army jawan today died of poisoning under mysterious circumstances at Yugpur in Samba.
Police sources said Ajay Kumar (25), who was posted in 12 JAK Rifles at Pathankote, was coming home on leave when he fell unconscious in a lane of Yugpur.
He was shifted by locals to hospital where he later died. Quoting doctors, sources said he had been given poison by someone.
Police had registered a case and started investigation as they suspected that someone might have given him poison to loot him. |
