| MLA launches black topping work | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR MAY 12:- MLA, Udhampur, Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia today launched black topping work of internal roads here at Housing Colony, Udhampur in presence of large number of inhabitants of the colony here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mankotia instructed the concerned officers of the Housing Board to ensure quality work and asked the inhabitants of housing colony to personally monitor the quality of material and provide necessary feed back to the concerned officers in time.
He said an amount of Rs. 35 lacs has been sanctioned for the various developmental works in the Housing colony which include construction of lanes and drains and repair of roads.
The work on some lanes and drains was completed last year and remaining works would be completed this year, he added.
He further said that one more project for the development of housing colony at a cost of Rs. 17 lacs has been prepared and the propsed amount would be released in due course of time.
