| NC holds meet, alleges Govt. failure on all fronts | | |

A meeting of J&K National conference Block Office bearers of Block Samba was held at Samba under the chairmanship of Block President Samba- S.N. Manyal, which was attended by delegates, Block Office bearers and other prominent person of the area.
Various organizational and other public importance issues were discussed threadbare. Major problems which came under discussion were acute shortage of drinking water, electricity, and rising prices of essential commodities.
Lambasting the present PDP-Congress coalition government Manyal, said that the present coalition during the course of Election-2002 made promises in their Election Manifesto to provide two jobs to each household in the state, but all these promises made by the coalition partners were not fulfilled. No resources were mobilized to provide employment avenues to the educated unemployed youth of the state. He further said that the prices of essential commodities are touching sky and Government has utterly failed to keep the price of the essential commodities under control.
