Govt failed to do justice with handicaps: JKHA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, May 12: Jammu and Kashmir Handicapped Association (JKHA) today threatened to launch an agitation, including ''fast unto death'' if their demands were not met by the government. Accusing government of failing to do justice with the handicapped persons in the state, the JKHA said an emergency meeting was held here to discuss the future course of action. General Secretary of the association Abdul Rashid Bhat, in a statement after the meeting, said the members of the JKHA had brought into the notice of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Social Welfare Minister Sakina Itoo, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar and interlocutors appointed by the Centre, the problems being faced by the handicapped persons. Bhat said, "despite directions by Governor N N Vohra to Itoo to consider our demands noting has been done on the ground."
