Students show writing skills

JAMMU NOV 19
In the ongoing Display Your Talent Contest, short story and essay writing competition was held here today.
In Short Story Competition, 39 participants from the various Post Graduate Departments of the University and its affiliated colleges were participated. The topics on which students write the story are Dowry System, National Integration and Terrorism. Each participant was given a maximum one hour 50 minutes times to write a story.
In the evening session, essay writing competition was held in which around 45 students were participated and the topics are Terrorism, Role of Mass communication 21st century and women empowerment on which students have to written the essay of 2000 to 3000 words. Maximum time limit was one hour. The result of both the events will be declared later on.
Prof. N.R. Sharma, Chairman Cultural Council, Dr. P.S. Pathania, DSW, Shoiab Inyat Malik Associate Dean were also supervised the events.
