| Dr Faisal gets Kashmir posting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, May 12: Dr Shah Faisal, who topped Union Public Service Commission, Civil Services Examination, last year, has been posted in Jammu and Kashmir.
"yeeeeeeees finallllllllly, I got Jammu and Kashmir Cadre! Coming to Srinagar on 13th June, along with three other friends of mine Rajeev, Prasanna and Neeraj. Cheers." Jubilant Faesal wrote on the social networking website Facebook.
Hailing from remote Sogam village of Lolab in north Kashmir's Kupwara district, Faesal became the first Kashmiri youth to top the list of 875 candidates Civil Services examination (IAS) 2009.
Pertinently, six candidates, three among them from Valley cracked the All India Civil Services Examination 2010, the results of which were declared on Wednesday. |
