| GHSS Nowabad organises environment awareness programme | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 13: Eco Club of Government Higher Secondary School Nowabad (Boys) organized an environment awareness programmes in its school premises.
Head Master M S Jamwal of the school inaugurated the plantation drive by planting a sapling in the 'school premises which was followed by the planting of 100 saplings by the students of the school.
On the occasion, a debate and painting competition was also organized on the topic of Global Warming in which 15 students of the school participated.
Later, an impressive rally was flagged of by MS Jamwal, the head master of the school. The rally passed through lanes and by lanes of the locality. The participants in the rally aware the general masses about the ill effects of Global Warming and deforestation through slogans written on placards.
