| RSCET forays into education sector | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 13: RSCET (Research & Studies in Communication Education & Technology Cooperative Ltd.) is the first ever cooperative movement in the State of Jammu & Kashmir for the promotion of Information Technology and computer education to hone the skill of fresher and to gratify the need of technical education and professional touch among the unemployed youths in the state with quality on top priority.
An impressive function was held here to mark the opening of RSCET ‘s new branch.
As part of its strategy to promote IT education in the state a new branch was setup under the scheme of affiliation at district Udhampur.
The branch was inaugurated by Jiven Lata Gupta chairman of Research & Studies in Communication Education & Technology Cooperative Ltd in a mammoth of gathering from different walks of life. Speaking at the inauguration function of the centre at Udhampur, chairman of the cooperative organization Jiven Lata Gupta threw light on the various activities of the RSCET.
She said that organization plan to setup its branches at every nook and corner of state with a motive to promote computer & IT education free of cost to the needy and down trodden apart from its general & regular RSCET courses which include computer Hardware, Computer Software, Mobile Repairing, Cutting Tailoring, Fashion Designing, Shorthand Typing, English Speaking, Personality Development and other self employment courses which is vocational in nature & these courses designed specially for unemployed youths with priority on quality education.
She further said that RSCET’s all courses are designed to promote the culture of self employment in the State and to make the State Self reliant.
Speaking on the occasion Gupta said that though a good number of institutes are available in the state but they fail to provide job oriented and quality education & fail to switching the educated unemployed youths in the right track. She also mentioned the reason of the failure of these institute is the lack of practical training in the courses which is the need of the hour and this will proved by the International markets like China & Japan.
RSCET works with a main aim to provide different services related to Information Technology under single room with special concession to meritorious students, backward classes, migrants students and handicapped person.
