| Inter-school competitions of Dansal zone begins | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 13: Annual inter-school competitions of Dansal zone in different disciplines of under-14 and under-17 boys and girls got underway at Youth Hostel Nagrota fields, here today under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).
About 300 students drawn from different government and private institutions of the zone are taking part in this two-day meet. Earlier, the competition was declared open by Warden of the hostel, Raj Kumar Sharma.
Today’s matches were officiated by the penal of experts including Narayan Singh, Rajesh Sambyal, Dheeraj Pal, Chander Shekhar, K Singh, Tilak Raj, Harvidner Singh, Sat Pal, Karnail Singh and Ajeet Singh.

Kabaddi U-17: HS Dhammi bt HS Kattal Batal 23-18; HSK Nagrota bt Higher Secondary School 27-20; Holy Trinity Dansal bt HS Dhammi 22-13.
Volleyball U-17: Higher Secondary Kathar bt Holy Trinity Convent Dansal in straight sets 25-23, 25-14.
Kho-Kho U-17: Higher Secondary Jajjar Kotli bt MS Domail 16-0; Holy Trinity Dansal bt Higher Secondary Dansal 8-3.
GIRLS
Kho-Kho U-14: HS Dhammi bt MS Sitili 11-05; Holy Trinity Convent bt MS Upper Jagti 06-05.
