Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, May 13: Senior BJP leader, President Vyopar Mandal Udhampur and former Ex-Vice Chairman of town area Committee Udhampur Raina Nand Baria unanimously have expressed concern over the working of the Municipal Council.
They expressed that the Municipal Council is totally defunct. They further stated that Udhampur depicts a grimy scenario when it comes to the sanitation front or the traffic arrangements in the city.
They said that the prominent areas in the city including Ram Nagar Chowk, Pandev Mandir area near CMO office, Talab Sallian Adarsh Colony, Subash Nagar Chabutra and Lambi Gali areas are poorly managed.
Ram Nand Baria said that several times they have brought these issues into the notice of concerned Municipal authorities and even in the notice of authorities of District administration, but nothing has been done so far.
Rama Nand Buria further said that Udhampur town is always over crowded and it can prove as a threat to the security arrangements.
He demanded expansion of Udhampur Municipal council limits.
