| Mudassar, Owais enter QFs of Sr Snooker | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, May 13: Mudassar Nath and Owais Baba among four cueists today reached the quarterfinals stages of the senior snooker event of the Srinagar District Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, Bakshi Stadium, here.
In the pre-quarterfinals played today, Mudassar defeated Waseem Iqbal 2-1 while Owais trounced Taseer Khan in straight frame. Senior cueist, Younis Kuchey also won his pre-quarterfinal tie against Azan Amin.
The Detailed Results: (Pre-quarterfinals): Mudassar Nath bt Waseem Iqbal 2-1 (52-62, 60-30, 50-29); Owais bt Taseer Khan 2-0 (89-30, 47-37); Aquib Malik bt Iqbal Bhat 2-0 (57-32, 53-32); Younis Kuchey bt Azan Amin 2-0 (59-32, 63-32).
