| Operation Sadbhavana educational tour | | |

As part of ongoing Op SADBHAVANA being undertaken by the Army, Brig KK Chopra, VSM Cdr 71 Sub Area hosted a reception for a group of school children from the Kashmir valley today at Udhampur. A group consisting four teachers and thirty four students was taken on an educational tour of Amritsar, Bikaner, Barmer and Jaisalmer. The aim of the tour was to integrate the children of rural areas of J&K with the rest of the country with a view to expose them to the rich cultural heritage as also to the hardship being faced by the people of remote areas of other states.
Speaking on the occasion Brig Chopra complimented the school boys as well as the people involved in the conduct for successful completion of the tour. He exhorted the school children to take a pledge to work for unity, integrity and development of the nation.
