| PDP demands relief to the effected farmers/ fruit growers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, May 14 : Peoples Democratic Party has expressed deep concern over the damage to the fruit and crop caused by the hailstorm in various areas of Budgam district.
MLA Beerwa Mohd Shafi and Youth General Secretary along with the concerned officers visited Khag, Kanidajan, Nagbal, Shankerpora Chraripora, Pakherpora and Yousmarg and met the effected farmers.
While expressing sympathies with the effected farmers the two leaders urged the government to take necessary steps for assessment of the loss and provide adequate compensation to the effected farmers and fruit growers.
