PDP Minority cell demands allotment of quarters to camp families | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu May 14: PDP Minority Cell today demanded allotment of quarters to those families who are still putting up in the Muthi, Mishriwala, Nagrota and Purkhoo migrants camps for their verification Ashok Bhat president of Minority Cell visited migrant camp Purkhoo to take stock of the problems being faced by the families residing in the camp. He said that number of families residing in the Purkhoo camp are missing in the allotment list. He appealed to CM to redress the problems of these remaining migrant families on priority basis so that they can get allotment letters. Ashok Bhat also visited the Jagti township and interacted with the inmates and listened to the suggestions made by them for bettering the facilities. Ashok Bhat and his team after taking round of township and getting feedback said that with the shifting of the families to Jagti from different migrant camps is another migration of the displaced Pandits has taken place. Moreover the families were shifted in haste and without doing any proper ground work. He said in the Jagti township that the basic amenities like medical facilities, education, transportation etc. are lacking which other- wise should have been first priority before shifting the families. Bhat urged the concerned authorities to solve the basic problems faced by the inmates who have shifted to this new township. Other leaders accompanying Bhat included Vijay Ji ,Ravi Bhan, G L Wali, Sanjay Danji, Amit Dhar, Anju Bhan and others.
