JAMMU, MAY 14-In order to carry out the routine/preventive maintenance of equipment and to replace worn-out/damaged jumpers/droppers in 220 KV Bus Bar and rectification of week points in 220 KV bays, the power supply to the 220 KV yards of 220/132/33KV Grid Station Udhampur involving 220 KV Transmission line such as Udhampur-Samba, Udhampur-Kishenpur circuit I and II, the power supply to Udhampur, Army, Ramnagar, Chanani, Air-force, Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban, Thethar, Mattan, Wampoh Chanderkote and Chanani Power House, shall remain affected on May 16, 2011 from 6 a m to 12.30 p m.
According to Chief Engineer, Electric Maintenance & RE Wing, Jammu, the shut down is subject to fair weather condition.
