| World Migratory Bird Day celebrated in SRP model high school | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 14: World Migratory Bird Day was celebrated in SRP Model High School Bhalwal SRP Model High School Bhalwal in collaboration with WWF-India, J&K State office organized painting competition on the eve of "World Migratory Bird Day".
Suresh Chander Sharma chairman & D.N. Hangloo, vice chairman/administrative officer of the school delivered a lecture on migratory bird day describing the importance of the migratory birds in the state.
Pictures of some of the migratory birds were also shown to the students on this occasion.
Programme commenced with a welcome address by the principal M.L.Bhat.
The others who spoke on the occasion were Sunita Sharma, Mohd. Riaz & Shanta Koul.
1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes were also distributed by the chairman to the students who participated in painting competition.
